I think you should stay on ios 7 as your device is too weak in terms of hardware to use the whole potential of ios 8. ios 8 is fine, but you will probably feel the slowdown of your ipad. ios 7 is still supported by apple, if it works fine, than continue using it.. Thanks for help, hope i won't need to downgrade...and hope performances on ios 10.3.3 will be as you say very good. i did not really see bad performances on ios 8.1 which is very stable and smooth on my ipad 4, but would like to get new app suport and all other things, i like changement ;-). If you can’t update wirelessly on your ios device, you can update manually using itunes on a computer that you trust. if your computer is using personal hotspot on the ios device that you’re updating, connect your computer to a different wi-fi or ethernet network before you update. install the latest version of itunes on your computer..
I have an ipad 2,16gb that is still on ios 6.0. i"m trying to decide should i upgrade to ios 8.3? some apps i have need at least ios 7 to function but i've read so much about problems with ipad 2 using 8.3 that i'm hesitant to do it.. Apple has released ios 11 beta, and you may consider – should i update my iphone/ipad to ios 11 instead of ios 10. for most idevice users, the answer is definitely "yes", because new ios 11 brings many amazing features, functions and also fix old bugs..
